tanka writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt write one tanka about: soulmates ------------- 5 lines in short/long/short/long/long using 31 syllables or less (preferably less). two interconnected lines of concrete imagery in lines 1&2 the satori (line 3) is the pivot line and must be able to be read with both the first two lines and the second two lines two interconnected lines from a different pov (point-of-view) in lines 4&5 *for this contest, lines 1-3 are written from the pov of one person, and lines 4&5 are written from the pov of the partner ------------- present tense little punctuation the title must look like this: tanka (line 1) no.... no rhyme anywhere, in any way no pictures/artwork no author's notes ------------- *see details in announcement for example |
