Lone Writer On A Stage

by Walter L. Jones

Count rainbows in meadows green
Feel the heart beat
Oh she is playing our song

Don't let the side of life
Get the free
Just a push
Count me the pedals
Loosing every thing
As mirror fades
Black in time fades
Justice weans reality
Just a want in a seed
Grow firm the tarnish in viewing
Scale tipped
Imagination blends light beams
You know it is a dawn in stars
Playing merrily with lovers
A magic in grieve
Like the sun weeping
Wind blows rain
We weep like a sieve

I take willow bending life
Upon a stage
Give back purest reality
Carved the bark
From here to eternity
