Homework- revise to free verse

Good News For a Day!

There will come the day.
I'm quite sure of this.
When today's lessons I learn,
Will become just old news.

Now, I'm new at this game.
Although I've played it for years.
The difference is this.
I made my own rules.

My "Good News" poem had too many rhymes
So I stayed up late and played with words.
I came up with a Free Verse, new & revised.
Except for the title. That stays!
