Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
Life is but a vapour..

A flower withers..

by royowen

A flower withers on the bush,
A tree falls in the evening's hush,
A sparrow dies in midst of flight,
A dolphin cries, ensnared, its plight!

A man is bound, betrayed, condemned,
Is scourged, thorn crowned, then cursed, and damned,
From lips, no word, or sad complaint,
On a cross is hung, no sin or taint!

His only crime, to free mankind,
To save us all, from sins that bind,
This man was God, was manifest,
Becoming flesh, was Heaven's best!

I wonder why, this Saviour's name,
Is cursed by man, held in disdain,
God's name is love, who gave His son,
To die for all, said "finished, done!"

Remember now, the flower's blight,
The sparrow died in midst of flight,
Majestic trees in forest fall,
While dolphin cries its deathly call!

James 4:13, 14. " Come now, you who say, " today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell and make a profit"
Whereas you do not what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."
Joel 1:12c, "All the trees of the field are withered"
Luke 12:6. " Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of is forgotten before God"
John 19:11. " Jesus answered, " you could have no power at all against Me unless it was given you from above. Therefore he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin." (Nobody took Jesus' life, He gave it willingly)
