Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
rhyming quatrains 8/6/8/6

This Love Within

As whispers rustle through the trees
My words will ring out true
And softer than the gentlest breeze
I'll tell you, "I love you."

Faithful as a morning sunrise
As sacred as can be
To you it should be no surprise
That's how my love will be.

We'll be just fine when trouble comes
I'll hold you close to me
You'll feel my heart, just how it hums
Then let your fears go free.

There'll always be this love within
And as the years go by
I'll be with you through thick and thin
Until the day I die.
