The nice things in life.
Was There Ever?

Was ever there such a sky so blue?
Or grass such a delicate green? Was ever there such a morning dew? Or sunset the best you have seen? Was ever there such a night so clear? A moon that was ever that high? Was ever there such a sound so dear, As hearing your baby's first cry? Was ever there such a hand so small, Or smiles that were so full of charms? Was ever there such a time at all, As holding your child in your arms? |
