Let's subdue our false ego to feel our soul
Ode to the Soul

Oh the Soul! You reside in all the beings
And perpetually play a positive role; You as more refined in the human beings Continually coax us to the right goal! Around us whatever is humane and fine, That is the upshot of your godly nod; Being God’s image you are surely divine And through you He uses His chastising rod! Let’s subdue our false ego to feel our soul And work to make the world a better place; The soul will lead us to do the upright role And bolster us to uproot the devil’s race! Let’s recall Lincoln, Gandhi, Mandela the great And grasp the cause of their immortal fame; The great figures could do the work of first rate By rousing people’s soul with the brisk flame! Oh the Soul! You well know why I adore you And often sing floral songs in your praise; Whatever has been said above is quite true And I can’t change my views in any ways! |

'Atman so Paramatman' i.e. Soul is God. Whatever good and
laudable human creation we see in the world,
it is the reflection of human soul which is the image of God.
