Toughest job I ever had...
School Bus Driver

Oh no! Please, not again!
This makes me want to cuss. Once more to my chagrin, I'm stuck behind the bus. It's yellow and it's slow With kids in every seat. It's blocking traffic flow. With stops at every street. I'm running late for work Frustration's setting in, The bus driver's a jerk. She's stopping yet again! I'm sitting here forlorn. I'm due at work at eight! I'll try honking my horn. I don't have time to wait. The kids look out with glee And laugh and flip me birds. They're making fun of me, The nasty little nerds! No passing is allowed, I might end up in jail. I'm honking long and loud But it's to no avail. Now what is the matter? The driver's getting out. Kids begin to chatter. What is this all about? Toward my car she's stalking. Her face is in a frown. All the kids are gawking To see what's going down. "You think my job's a breeze?" She says and glares at me. "Here, I'll give you my keys. Just take my place and see." "Yes, climb aboard my friend, And see what I go through, You'll be at your wits' end In just a mile or two." "Revenge will be so sweet! While you're driving the bus, I'll sit here in your seat And honk at you and cuss." |
