Waiting, always waiting Time spent doing nothing A mere existence Waiting for that special person Who will make life meaningful Self is not enough Waiting for the right career Enjoyable and pays well Work doesn’t satisfy Waiting for the correct social situation Friends who will laugh and play Isolation Waiting for good luck Perhaps win the lottery No luck Waiting to enjoy life A vacation maybe Muddle through Waiting to be the best Recognized achievement Irrelevant Waiting to retire Time to enjoy life No interests Waiting to find self Your niche in society Forever lost Waiting for a sign A spiritual happening No faith Waiting for life to find you Feel wonderful and free Entrapment Waiting and wishing Missing out on life A waste Why wait?
