If the Fur Fits--We Can't Acquit
by Joan E.

is cleverly called a "pride"
I was so depressed over our U.S. government shut down and approaching the edge of the "fiscal cliff," I resorted to humor to distract myself. Let's hope we don't find ourselves at the abyss again in January. The title is a play on a quote from the O.J. Simpson murder trial: "If the glove doesn't fit, we must acquit." (P.S. Our British friends may not think that the collective phrase "a parliament of owls" is so apt!)Pays one point and 2 member cents.
