A Tale of Ghetto Revenge...

That's All They Need

by seewhatimwritingnow

Another 'drive-by' in the ghetto today
I feel I should try to make them take heed
I will visit those gangs and, I'll have my say
Yes, a good talking to is all that they need

I parked my gold Caddy, beneath a street light
Then skipped along gaily as I planned my deed
The misunderstood hoods stood there in the night
I smiled and I waved, because that's all they need

I noticed one thug had a gun in his shirt
Shaking my finger, his gun I retrieved
"Don't you know, dear, that someone could get hurt?"
Knowledge of laws, Yes, that's all that they need!

I'd brought along with me a large bag of snacks
They said, "Hey, Grandma, did you bring us some weed?
Laughing, I gave them good Granola packs
A good healthy diet is all that they need

Came out of my coma no bones left intact
Six months in traction, tomorrow I'd be freed
Then I'd return to that Ghetto and that is a fact
'Cause a little revenge is all that I need

In wheelchair and braces I returned that day
Fired my machine gun and watched them all bleed
Left em dead in the street and I just wheeled away
Said to myself, "Yep...that's all they need!"

Thanks again, Angelheart, for use of another lovely picture!
P.S. The gold Caddy was never seen again.
