Sick at home with nothing to do
I'm So Bored
by l.raven
I'm watching Harry Potter
I can't go out and play Was diagnosed with Acute Bronchitis And the doc said not today The meds the doctor gave me I take in a small dose I'm allergic to them all Antibiotics I react to the most So here I sit alone Doc said I need my rest I'm trying not to do much I'm giving it my best My daughter-in-law told me No one I need to see She said to stay on the couch And watch a little TV So writing seemed a good thing I'm bored out of my head I'm just not all that tired Don't feel like going to bed It's finally almost lunch That will consume some time I'll have some soup and a sandwich And that will be just fine I'll take a nap later What more is there to do I'll post my poem on FanStory And pass my misery to you So what could be better than sharing My misery with FanStory friends Only for me to get better And hope my misery ends |

I would like to clear up a few things some seem to be having problems with. They say it sounds like a child being sick then the daughter-in-law steps in. Well a few had trouble with Harry Potter being watched by adults. Harry Potter movies have been loved by adults, teens and children from the day they came out. And the word play has confused a few in here. Well my husband never told my he was going to football with the guys. He said he was going to play football. I play baseball and all kinds of games in the yard with my grandkids. That includes Hockey. So yes I go out and play. For me being a adult has never taken the word play out of my life. So I hope for those who gave the low ratings for those reasons can now understand the wording in my poem. So sorry these things confused people. Wasn't mean't to do that. I hope this helps understanding it better. Linda hugs
