A Minute poem
I woke to sky of moonlit blue
And came to you
For the last time,
To make you mine.
I know, my love, that you are made
To age and fade
Like dimming light
At fall of night.
Accept my kiss, then come with me
Stay young, be free
Though still a slave -
To blood, and grave.
The minute poem is composed of 60 syllables, divided into 3 verses of 8/4/4/4 syllables. The rhyme scheme is in couplets. The meter is strict iambic tetrameter.Pays one point and 2 member cents.
