Small White Ball

by Warren Rodgers

But lost it in the creamy clouds,
A fickle wind soon followed
And blew it all around,
Off dead tree hollow
the green was found,
cup swallowed,
hole in

I've seen some weird things on the golf course, including a golf ball in flight killing a bird in flight, now that was strange! I wish I could tell you my Nonet story is true but it's not.
Many thanks to snickersnax from fanartreview.com for the wonderful photograph.
