It's Wonderful Being P

by sweetwoodjax

It's a wonderful thing being p,
without it you couldn't write poetry.

Without it, people couldn't pee
and have no manners, never say please.

Perfection would be a thing of the past.
Without pictures, memories wouldn't last.

Pansies would be replaced with roses.
We wouldn't be able to pamper our noses.

Without a p, I'd have a different name.
If I couldn't be Pam, I wouldn't be the same.

There would never be any panic attacks,
but without police, who would have my back?

No more picnics on the side of the hill,
but without the Post Office, there'd be no bills.

The letter p can give so much pleasure.
You have to have pints in order to measure.

You couldn't count pennies to make up a dollar.
Without any pitch, a song would sound like a holler.

Without any pounds, you wouldn't gain weight
and you'd never have too much on your plate.

Without paper or plastic, you wouldn't buy much.
There would never be pain from another one's touch.

First place would be a nice spot for me,
and I couldn't do that without the letter p.
