A rose

To blossom into
a flower

Burdened with sharp
thorns is
neglected
without water
dieds as
a bud

With us today
a rose of
fine
qualities
panted at
birth

With thorns of
faults
within ourselves

The defects of despair
nothing of good will
come about for

We have a rose within
ourselves that
others can see

If they watered it
daily
it will not
wither
and the
greatest gift
of all

When a person
can possess
to reach
someone
bi-pass the
thorns
and find a rose
within them

They will become
a
beautiful flower
of full bloom...
