A dark poem in Pantoum Form.
Snake's Pit
by amada
We are the creed of the seven deadly sins Scorching in the hollow of your fright Sovereign we reign in earthy wins But venom drips consecrates all our rites Scorching in the hollow of your fright We, the dim collectors of mundane gains But venom drips consecrates all our rites In our pagan pit, sovereign we do reign. We, the dim collectors of mundane gains Sssssss, our tongues feast in your spite In our pagan pit, sovereign we do reign We thrive in the bleakness of your light. Sssssss, our tongues feast in your spite Hungry for each trace of burnt stain We thrive in the bleakness of your light And will hiss as we wrap into your chains. |

Just a whack idea that came into my mind: Seven snakes representing the seven sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Laziness, Wrath, Envy, Pride. I apologize if I offend some of the readers. This is just a creative expression of my deranged mind.
