We all dance.

Pied Piper

by cwebb

You are the Pied Piper
of Hamelin town,
you play your music and dance

I hear the sound and am
mesmerized and
together we dance round
and round.

Faster and faster and faster
we go.

You laugh and play and
I giggle with delight.

My head is spinning and
I am getting dizzy
but still we spin and spin
around and finally
I drop.

I can't go on,
and drift off to sleep.

Dreaming I can
hear the tune, so jolly
and clear as it fades

And then, I awake and
you are gone.
