Writing With Wreck
by amada
When wanting, my writing grew Rich with intensifiers and adverbs, Felt verbs falling from above Like blossoms Fit for a bridal shower... or for a vow when I dared not to do some rules. And then, Nouns found a nest under a cedar tree nouns found a nest under an adjective green --- NEW 2 LINES and they added modifiers to enhance the mood. And they asked for Out of nowhere modifiers To enhance a tired mood. By then I couldn't resist a thought.... When a phrase stopped, by shy, With dare I wanted to write about And break Some scary starchy rules... Just to let it spin, relax, go cool... Without breaks Give it some ease To carry on And let it tell its thing in its way And I went ahead Writing very silly Like changing tenses in mid sentences Diagnosing irregular verbs as regular ones Or, when in a better mood Lightening a candle on a sad line Or adding a ring-ring to a monot onous rhyme Not wanting to be stopped by the harsh hush of a period Or an amicable coordinating conjunction Just write for the glory of it and ignore the doubters; if, but, maybe; Take a high-five with my fecund muse And never suppress a thought Just because It doesn't adhere To some gaunt Grammatical rule. |
