When I met my wife.
Joy

Mirth disguised a wounded soul
hollow, and determined through my thespian eyes. A vacant heart searched for answers, yet none were found nor given. Woeful years plagued mindless masquerades in misty moonlit charades. Empty nights and deserted beaches callously taunted my reverie. Precise, yet vague, such chameleon paths were traveled. God's plan hurled me onward to discover your world in mine at the brink of my fading sunset. Your smile caressed my bruised soul like velvety fingers of mercy. Your wondrous blue eyes coaxed me with everlasting calm . . . and serene love. |
