She Howls Through The Night

by sweetwoodjax

She howls through the night like a banshee, the very sound coursing through your soul with echoes of emotion. She rages against the house with a voice like a trumpet, screeching her rage in perfect symphony with the snow.

She cries tears of pain that turn into icicles that cling to the house and glisten in the daylight. She shakes her head in fury and blankets the earth in white flakes. She stomps her feet and causes the flakes to dance in the air.

She is rebuked by her husband and their matrimonial discourse is like a blizzard that takes the world by storm. Their anger eases and they warm up to each other slowly and they give birth to a child named Spring.

I wanted to write a story that shows winter as an angry woman and a blizzard as a matrimonial fight and making up warms their heart and gives birth to new life. Thank you to lilaccollas for great picture
