A chapter in the book Poetic Reflections of God

Explaining the Trinity

by sweetwoodjax

To explain the trinity to children in a language they can understand, I have come up with this analogy. I have used it several times.

Take a pencil and hold it up. The beginning of the pencil is the creative end. God created Heaven and earth. The end of the pencil is the eraser and Jesus erases our mistakes. Inside of the pencil is the lead and the Holy Spirit lives inside of us and connects us to God and Jesus.

Jesus said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end."

It's a good picture analogy that drives home a point.

Inspired by Goldella's poem about forgiveness. thank you to crystal clear for picture.
