God doesn't forget the tears we've cried

A chapter in the book Poetic Reflections of God

He Kept My Tears

by sweetwoodjax

When I got to Heaven, God took me to a room that was filled with bottles. Each bottle held the tears I had cried over the years. Each one was labeled with the time and event for which I had cried.

My heart was saddened by all the tears I had cried, but God told me, "Rejoice, for your tears will be no more. There will be no tears in Heaven and your tongue will sing out with praise.

I kept these tears to show you that I felt each teardrop as it fell and I cried along with you. When the earth was barren and needed rain, I released the teardrops on the dry soil and the soil was filled with life again. Rejoice, for your crying has turned to singing and your pain has turned to joy! Behold, these tears shall return to the earth from which they came and you shall remember them not."

I watched with amazement as God poured out my tears onto the earth and they fell like a gentle rain to bring forth new life. And I danced with joy on the streets of gold that day, for my tears were no more.
