Here I am in all my glory,
A brand new poem upon FanStory.
I'm all pumped up, I'm proud to say;
It looks like I'll be here to stay.

Five stars, six stars, Oh, Good Heaven!
Some folks want to give me seven!
Promoted with a Treasure Chest,
I'm Recognized, an All-Time Best.

I'm famous now, the great and wise
Anoint me with a special prize.
Could there be more? What's that you say?
Only two reviews today?

I'm growing less and less admired,
My Treasure Chest has just expired.
The Pixel Blue and PearlADew
Have written verses fresh and new.

I'm out of sight and out of mind,
In this portfolio I'm confined.
O Tempora! Mores! Dismal times!
I must consort with lesser rhymes.

With wimpish Whitneys, haikus twee,
(Can seventeen syllables vie with me?)
With sullen sonnets, ballads brisk,
And free verse that no rhyme will risk,

Nonets and limericks by the score,
Rondeaux, cinquains, odes and more.
I'll wander lonely as a cloud
Before I mix with that sad crowd.

You know where poems go to die?
That great Anthology in the sky?
That's where my epitaph you'll see-
