But For the Grace of God I Go
by AlvinTEthington
But for the grace of God I go... Oh, really, you opine that's so? Belong to the elect of God? I find your arrogance quite odd. The maker of the ark drank wine; Now you think drunks are out of line. And Abraham our father lied; Does not that cause you just to sigh? The pagan Rahab was a whore; I bet that makes you really sore. King David killed to have a wife; That must cause your demeanor strife. Our Lord with sinners dined and ate-- That you consider second rate... So whom does God in truth so choose? The ones with nothing left to lose! |
