It's early Christmas morn , the children sleep.
A peace reigns o'er the dawning of this day.
This calm He wants us all to feel, to keep.
Throughout the year He wants this peace to stay.

But chaos and despair control the scene,
so many without hope across this earth.
The enemy who stalks our world unseen
destroys the meaning of the Christ child's birth.

Let's join our hearts together, one by one,
uplift our voices now unto the Lord.
Let's pray the evil spread can be undone
so hope and harmony can be restored.

Serenity is found on Christmas morn;
let's praise this day that Jesus Christ was born.
