Poetry - I saw it run
by Eternal Muse
Poetic form, I see you soon extinct replaced by bubbles, triangles and air Haiku, senryu, will live - they're so succinct, Not much for poetry, me thinks, but flair. Perhaps, it is a rhyming me that frowns - Some "poems" shaped like elephant's behind A real and timeless poetry has drowned Replaced by abradab that boggles mind. Just listen: "POETRY"! This word is proud, It's musical and soothing to an ear It whispers, woes, it's not "zigzag" or loud and if you listen well, then you might hear. I think, good poetry has run its course Extinction with no qualms and no remorse. |
