see author's notes for form's description and background
Did you, the horse that threw my mother off,
Destroy my father's life for years to come? You seem so proud, so haughty and aloft; Does your base mind know what I have become? My father would not ride a horse again; Years later I was left in my chagrin-- Although I was a child--kind, meek, and mild; I had been told that your desire ran wild. |
