When my mother has nobody left to remember even her name, when my children take no breath and death has laid its claim to our entire line, life will remain -- embraced by Mother Earth. |

Writing Prompt Write a nonet poem. It's a simple format. A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with just one syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional. |

April 22 is Earth Day. Mother Earth nurtures us all. She will nurture generations to come, long past your lives and the lives of our great great grandchildren, but only if we return a little of the love and care she has given us. Be kind to our Mother, and Happy Earth Day!!
