Rictameter Contest Prompt Entry

What Once Was Heard

by Mrs. KT

To Open One's Heart Again

Echoes
Of your laughter
Serenade the stillness
Throughout these rooms where love once dwelled.
Treasured memories softly make their way
As I close each door of sadness
Bidding sweet forgiveness
To welcome all
Echoes
