They Rule the World!
I'm a Cat!

This is My Owner
Kitten's prowl,
pounce and growl, laugh and scowl. Hears the howl, of an owl. Run and hide, slip and slide, back inside to reside with cat pride. Now I purr, feel my fur, I won't stir like a cur- as it were. I'm a cat! Not a brat you can pat like a mat. That is that! (like my hat?) |
The colors I used represent my owner, Ebby. The photo is of her at halloween, witch hat and all. And she really can be!
The last stanza, while slightly ambiguous to most readers, is explained in the behavior of my cat. She likes to be "petted", not "patted". She will let you know the difference.
This was my first attempt at this style, and I hope you enjoyed it! I found it a delightful challenge.
