Luna is just another spirit in a human suit trying to make it through this world of ours. She has many interests, among them fantasy, poetry and music. She's a dreamer in the true sense of the word. She's a parent, though, so she does show up for life. She enjoys it when she can have it both ways. Luna values the qualities of honesty and tolerance of others in a person more than any other. Looks are just superficial to her; it's what is on the inside of a person that matters. What are you made of?
Her poem "Change of Heart" was the first place winner in the site sponsored "The Words are the Same" contest. "Two Words" placed second in the site sponsored "Faith Poetry" contest, while "Find a Fairytale" (the Prologue to Luna's Book of Kyrielle Sonnets) was the third place winner in the site sponsored Poetry in Art contest. She has over 300 All Time Best and many more Recognized Poems in her portfolio.
Her poems "Seamstress," "Man in the Moon," and "Lunacy" were published in Shadows Ink Poetry Chapbook, Series 2, Volume 5, Shadows Ink Publications. Her poems "In Dreams," "My Saving Grace," and "Song for David" were published in Shadows & Mist - The Members Collection 2007 Volume 6, Shadows Ink Publications. "Seamstress," "Camelot Dreams," "Her Lovely Light," and "Conversation with My Maker" have been published in Merging Shadows - The Member Collection - 2008; Community of Poets Collection, Volume 7, Shadows Ink Publications.

Luna has published a chapbook entitled "Luna's Vision ~ dreams and fantasies" a collection of her favorite poetry. it is available for sale on the site Shadowpoetry.com. It's ranked number 7 of the 10 best selling chapbooks for the last quarter.
She's got two kids she loves more than her own life. After a necessary time out, she's learning how to be a stand-up parent again and is assisting her children with their individual problems. It's a learning process for both Luna and her children, but her kids have both seen fit to welcome her back into their lives. For that she is very grateful.
A career legal secretary, Luna has been off the job on disability for a number of years and it was said that she'd not get back to work. However, she has returned to work as a legal secretary in a small office on a part time basis (although it's more like a full-time during part time hours - you lawyers and legal secretaries will understand!) and is loving it; however the first of April she will be moving in with her boyfriend in a small town just outside of Lancaster, PA (Amish Country) and has given notice at her job. She's looking forward to this next phase of her life with her man, as she had come to believe that love would not cross her path in this life again. When she stopped the desperate search, her true love and best friend miraculously appeared in her life. Imagine that.
This site is truly a place that she considers her second home. She's made some friends for life on this site.
Loves SLASH, Jim Carroll (writing and music), Sylvia Plath, Dorothy Parker, Christopher Walken, Kevin Smith, David Lynch, Quentin Tarantino. Loves body art (on herself and others).
A Cancer and dominated by the Moon; obviously favorite times are full moon.
She's Irish through and through and respects her Celtic upbringing.
Her fantasy (other than to sit upon the Moon - duh) is to one day visit the Great Pyramids of Egypt.
Thank goodness she has learned that we are never given more than we can handle at once. This helps her when she is needed to be available to help her children through their various crises; her personal pain has dissipated greatly due to some very intense personal work.
She has won several contests. The contest submission
Life's Gift was the first place winner in the contest Trinet Poetry.
Tearful Heart was the first place winner in the contest Brief Love Poem.
The Wedding Fairy was the first place winner in the contest La 'Tuin Poetry.
She is an accomplished poet and is currently at the #39 spot on this years rankings.
