A Pantoum
A Golden Dawn
by kiwisteveh
There shines a golden dawn. The sun is borne
on burnished rays which comfort, feed and warm neglected souls that faced the dark forlorn, confused and battered by the raging storm. On burnished rays which comfort, feed and warm, we nourish hopes and dreams. Where once we stood confused and battered by the raging storm, there flourishes new life that's strong and good. We nourish hopes and dreams where once we stood afraid and crushed by doubt. On stony ground there flourishes new life that's strong, and good can celebrate with joy a peace profound. Afraid and crushed by doubt, on stony ground, neglected souls that faced the dark forlorn, can celebrate with joy a peace profound: There shines a golden dawn - the Son is born. |
