Autumn

platform for battle
a blaze of fire trees lose their covering cushions ground from freeze new cold gets pushed out again summer pushes back kindling pleasant thoughts walk of ghosts and ghouls tricks one’s own life into treat honoring bounty autumns ebb and flow seasons meet as two oceans climate’s tidal flow shifting to new climes Summer retreats to new world winter now moves in as summer cedes to winter for spring’s renewal |
