Acrostic Poem
The Poe House
by Mike K2
The sounds of your own footsteps
Heard as you crept Entering Poe's threshold. Pondering what you will encounter, untold On every floor of the abode a fascination Every house noise sparks imagination. Honoring the life accomplishment Of such a mysterious author, magnificent Under his own roof and maybe eyes Sensing the man behind the persona one spies Enlivens your own appreciation. |
