I'm from the old school

Are thing's that hard to meet someone the old fashion way.
Are we too busy, lazy and rather follow the new technology easy way.
Meeting someone from a screen, not knowning if their words are true or, are they just telling you want you want to hear.
Is this part of a game for some lonely debentured soul or, a serial killer are you next on his or her list?
I believe this is partly wrong with our society today.
Is it just me who finds it strange? That many put so must trust in people they never met, not thinking of the consequence.
It's true you can't see God but, His presence is always there.
You can trust him day and night.
God, who gives you unconditional love, without going on the internet.
If you are going to give it a try please follow these simple rules.
(1) Make sure someone comes with you on that first date.
(2) Let someone know where you are going to be.
(3)Print this mystery person's picture to all your friends. Hey, wait a minute how will you know if that picture is them until you meet.?

Another question I would like to know, why take chances to travel out of state, even worse invite them to your home sweet home. Especially when you have children around. Are you losing your mind?

Funny how we are forever telling our children beware of the dangerous people in the world, don't talk to stranger or give your name address, telephone or e-mail address to people you don't know.
When will we practice what we preach. Are we that desperate to have a mate it's worth taking this bold chance.

I saw on TV a woman in the hospital, a man she met on a site put her there.
She broke off their relationship. He tried to beat her to death.
After his arrest, they found out he had killed another woman after her.
Now don't get me wrong there are many happy matches but, we don't hear or see too many of them except on the commercials on TV.

I think I'll take my changes rescuing a dog from a shelter, At least I know some came from a abuse life style, there is a good chance of rehabilitating for him or her.
I can't say that about a human being.
This I know, animal I can trust, and get unconditional love.
