Reinvent a fairytale.
The topic of this contest is to rewrite a well known fairytale or nursery rhyme. The twist, however, is to reinvent the story incorperating conventions from another genre. For example; The Three Little Pigs, written as a gritty crime thriller. Hansel and Gretal, written as a slasher/stalker tale. Or Sleeping Beauty, reinvented as an erotic drama. Be creative. And remember - it is not necessary to change the story's events, so long as the tale is told in the appropriate fashion.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
Minimum length: 700 words. Maximum Length: No restriction (Go Wild!)
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
