For our Holiday Story Contest we are looking for stories that somehow capture the fun, spirit, excitement, frustration or joy of the holiday season. Stories should be holiday oriented (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa). Share your experiences (good or bad) during this time of the year. Fiction and non-fiction entries welcomed. There must be a clear holiday theme. But creative approaches are welcomed. The story should clearly be holiday oriented but writers are free to be creative when reaching that goal.
One entry per person. New entries only. No poetry. Maximum Length 7,000 words. Recommended length 2,000 - 3,500 words
The winners will be selected by the FanStory.com Contest Committee. A winner will be announced approximately one to two weeks after the deadline passes. The decision is final.

The winner takes away a one hundred dollar pre-paid Visa gift card. Second place will win twenty-five member dollars. Third place ten member dollars.
