It's NOT an Acrostic Poem
Poetry Contest
Hello! I think I've "discovered" a new form of poetry, at least the Poetry Editor at Writer's Digest thinks I may have.
Join me on the road to confirmation. Here are the rules:
1. Starting at the left-hand margin, find any seven consecutive lines appearing in a written work.
2. Copy the seven lines verbatim and cite the source. No copyright infringements, please.
2. Identify the first letter of each line.
3. Write a seven-line poem where the first line begins with the first letter, the second line begins with the second letter, the third line begins with the third letter, etc.
Let me know if enjoyed writing this poem, how easy or difficult it was to write, and help me find a name for this new poetry form.

PSALM 94:18-19

slipping," your
unfailing love, Lord,
supported me. When
anxiety was great within
me, your consolation
brought me joy.
On The Edge (short version)
Worry, fear, anxiety ride on Helios' Chariot
Same challenges, different day
Undeniable
So much can be done, but very little is
A dark cloud hangs low enough to hunch my shoulders
Music doesn?t move the beast in me,
Between my feet and ground, inches.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 28.00 member dollars. There are 11 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
