Multi-Form Madness

Poetry Contest
Write a poem of any length on any topic presented in any way you chose.

You MUST, however, use at least three distinct poetic forms in your piece. Yes, you may indeed use more, there is no limit.

Your piece may be a sonnet, followed by a haiku, followed be a nonet. OR ... perhaps, a free verse, followed by a clarity poem followed by a series of rhymed quatrains. OR ... maybe a prose poem followed by a senryu followed by an etheree. You may use any recognized forms in any combination. You are not restricted to three, but you MUST use at least three.

Here are just a FEW forms available on Poetry Dances to choose from. YES, there are others.

List at least three of the forms you used in your author's notes. As I mentioned, there are no restrictions on presentation, music, animations, fonts and colors all to your liking and imagination.

Remember, you MUST use at least THREE different forms in you finished piece. The ten-dollar entry fee is so we have something worthwhile to split up among the winners.

Finally, an acrostic sonnet DOES NOT count as two forms. You can combine forms if you wish, but you must have three sections to your piece ... minimum.

This has produced some amazing poetry in the past. Good luck to all.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 120.00 member dollars. There are 6 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 180.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
