Fun with Punctuation

Punctuation

Punctuation marks are the road signs of the language highway. We have the period and the comma. They are the Stop Sign and the flashing yellow light. Then there is the semicolon, the colon, the quotation marks, parentheses and brackets, apostrophes, hyphens, dashes, ellipses, questions marks, and last but not least, the exclamation point.

For this contest, you will write an essay or short story using ALL of the different punctuation. This description will be included in the contest rules - you will be judged on how well you use the punctuation marks AND originality.

Minimum word count: 500; Maximum word count: 1000

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 21.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
