The Call

Your main character receives a call from someone they haven't heard from in a long time. It's a call they never thought they'd receive... the rest is up to you. Any genre is fine but this is for PROSE FICTION ONLY. Minimum 600 words. Maximum 1000 words. Be as creative as you can...
