Write a Sonnetino
Poetry Contest
A Sonnetino form was created by our fellow FanStorian lightink (Jyoti). It consists of five lines - a tercet and a couplet. The rhyme scheme is AAA BB. The metric scheme is iambic pentameter.
Example:
On The Shore
I walk the shore inhaling salty air
A perfect day, I wish that you were there -
together, you and I, in Neptune's lair.
I write your name upon the sand and sigh
The waves have sung their gentle lullaby.
