Do the songs of the King of Rock and Roll bring back some memories? Do any of them make your heart beat faster? Do you like money? Well, then, we have a winner!
I just completed 30 days of writing poems inspired by Elvis songs titles. I knew he'd recorded a lot, but would you believe there are over 750 titles to choose from?? Yep. Check out the following site: List_of_songs_recorded_by_Elvis_Presley/a
Choose your favorite Elvis song title (from his collection of over 750!) and write a poem-- any style, any length -- as long as readers can tell the inspiration definitely came from the song title, which must be included in the author notes. That's it!
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 40.00 member dollars. There are 10 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 5 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
