connect to children
Connect to children and their families by using Bible stories.
Resurrection Sunday is on March 27, 2016. This is a celebration day! Over 2000 years ago Jesus arose and was seen by his disciples, family and friends. Take the dusty books of the Gospel and Bible stories off of the shelves and share them with the youth as a story. (I hope your books are being used.....) How would you explain in a story to the unchurched youth who are coming back to church to learn about Jesus, Paul, the disciples, Lydia, etc.? Would you sit with Jesus in the Upper Room or go with Jesus on the road of passion to the cross? Maybe, you would like to walk to Emmaus or meet Paul on his missions? Give some excitement in the stories with Lydia, Timothy, John and Peter. This is your story that you could read to the youth in your homes or Bible studies. Jesus blesses the hearts of children and the families. Catch the excitement of the youth. Nan has challenged me to share my suitcase story. Maybe, you have a story in your heart as you are led to write.
God bless! <>< soli deo Gloria!
