What I Look For in a Mate
This is prose only, no poetry.
Write a non-fiction piece about what you look for in a mate. You may include what you have found that disappointed you in the past or surprised you and perhaps made you change your way of thinking.
This is about your relationships.
Feel free to explore life events that may have shaped the way you view relationships in a positive or a negative way.
I realize this can be a touchy subject and there's a reluctance sometimes to speak of it. In fact, I made this anonymous just in case I want to delete my entry after the vote. Ha!
Please write at least five hundred words and as many as you need after that. There's no limit except for the 7000 that is built in I believe.
Be brave.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 35.00 member dollars. There are 11 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
