Write a Kyrielle Sonnet

Poetry Contest
A Kyrielle Sonnet is made up of three rhyming quatrains and a non-rhyming couplet. Just like the traditional Kyrielle poem, the Kyrielle Sonnet also has the repeating line or phrase as a refrain (usually appearing as the last line of each stanza).

Each line within the Kyrielle Sonnet consists of only 8 syllables. French forms have a tendency to link back to the beginning of the poem, so common pactice is to use the first and last line of the first quatrain as the ending couplet. This would also reinforce the refrain within the poem.

Therefore, a good rhyming scheme for a Kyrielle Sonnet would be:
AabB, ccbB, ddbB, AB - or AbaB, CbcB, dbdB, AB

Example:

Our dream of love was grandiose
Like dew-kissed sultry morning rose.
We had it all and wanted more;
We didn't care what lay in store.

Two flames combust, divine affair;
Unchained by lust, we gasped for air --
So much was yet left to explore,
We didn't care what lay in store.

Embraced by love, we flew to stars
to reach a Jupiter and Mars.
We heard the golden rain outpour --
We didn't care what lay in store.

Our dream of love was grandiose;
We didn't care what lay in store.
