The topic for this contest is: NATURE.

The title of the poem may be any that you wish. Pictures are welcome.

Write 3 poems that somehow incorporates the topic. The poems must be specifically about the topic of nature.

Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the style's proper forms for each(Haiku, 5/7/5, Tanka) and topic when making a choice for a winner. If you need help writing these forms you can go to Poetry Dances.

Example:

HAIKU
winter winds blow
on snow laden land
frozen tundra

5/7/5
flowers bloom in spring
causes bright and colorful
rainbow tapestry

TANKA

down steep and deep mountainside
where rushing water
turns white as it bubbles on
downward and tumbles fiercely
