Dr Terry Fying's Crumbling Crypt 2
"Hello, boils and ghouls, and welcome to my crumbling crypt. I must get out more often. However, I will admit, this place is to die for... heh-heh-heh!"
Remember those campy introductions from the long-running HBO series, "Tales From the Crypt" -- presented by that crusty cadaver, "The Crypt Keeper"? Or, how about those campy horror hosts from late night television that were once so wildly popular here in the States? Their punny, alliteration-laden quips always pertained to the story which was about to unfold.
That's the gist of this contest.
Write an original horror story, introduced by a horror host of your own creation, and include an introduction reminiscent of those classic, late-nite "Creature Features", or EC horror comics. The length of your introduction is irrelevant, but should be lengthy enough to introduce your twisted tale of terror.
Those are the only stipulations; the topic of the story is left completely up to you. It must be in the horror/thriller genre, however. Artwork, animation...whatever you choose to use at your disposal is more than welcome. Watch the following clip to get an idea of what I'm looking for, if you don't already know:

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 35.00 member dollars. There are 11 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
