A CHILD'S TOY

Poetry Contest
Please write a poem of any style on the theme of a SINGLE CHILD'S TOY you received as a present - NO MULTI-CHOICES. It may be ONE you owned or imagine you owned.

The TOY must be one that HAS BEEN produced, and NOT ONE you would like to have been produced.

Themes where the toy resembled an animal/human, such as 'Dolls' or 'Teddy Bears' or 'Tin Soldiers' ARE NOT ALLOWED.

MIN 100 words, MAX 180 words.

Word count must be stated in 'description' above title, but NOTHING ELSE there.

NO artwork or sound effects.

NO author notes.

MUST be in black type with a white background.


The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 30.00 member dollars. There are 12 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
